Bret Michaels
Legendary rocker, "Celebrity Apprentice" contestant, and former Poison frontman Bret Michaels has not died, as several erroneous reports have indicated within the hour.

Bret Michaels, however, was rushed to the ICU on Thursday evening having suffered what appears to be a severe brain hemorrhage.

Doctors have since confirmed a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage and, as a result, Bret Michaels remains in critical condition:

"After several CAT scans, MRIs and an angiogram, [doctors] decided to keep Michaels in the ICU and are running several tests to determine the cause. [It] will be touch and go for the next few days while he is under intense observation," People magazine is reporting.

Michaels, who is diabetic, was released from the hospital just last week following an emergency appendectomy.

It is not yet known if the present hemorrhage is related to the appendectomy.
