The old saw for politicians goes something like this: Remember who put you where you are. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger did just that on Monday, except it was really more a "what" than a "who."
Aglow in Los Angeles sunlight, the governor personally announced the rescue of Hollywood's famed mountaintop sign — only days after it seemed a developer would make good on a promise to start building homes behind the sign and foul the pristine, iconic view.
Helped by $3.1 million in state cash allocated by Schwarzenegger, a Los Angeles land trust managed to rustle the $12.5 million it needed to buy a 138-acre parcel just beyond the sign and spare it from development.
"Hollywood has turned me into an action hero," Schwarzenegger said. "So when I heard the land was in danger, I did what the Terminator was supposed to do, which was to jump into action."
Of course, like any good hero, the governor had some help. Stars like Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks ponied up on behalf of the Trust for Public Land, which will donate the parcel to Los Angeles for use as a park. And this month, when the fate of the view seemed its most dire, Playboy impresario Hugh Hefner gave $900,000 to put the fundraising effort over the top.
As for the governor, he didn't open his own checkbook for the cause, but his staff said he lent his time lining up donors. The cause was personal, Schwarzenegger said, remembering the sign as a beacon of hope back when he was a star bodybuilder but only a would-be actor.
"The thing that was always in front of me was the Hollywood sign," he said. "And that's what motivated me."

" Should you not mind an inferior screen however , you will not taking the laptop with you - we may advise something from the 14-inch range.

Apple currently offers two sizes of Mac - Book Air notebook, respectively 11.
In mid-2009 the third generation landed and it was more than a year later,
in October 2010, that we were treated to the new super-skinny design ' a design that was once again revamped in July 2011. It was a great investment and I found that it's better to not sweat the
small stuff.

Now you should know how to buy a digital camera that you can
enjoy for years to come. A great side pan requires that
the camera travel together with the subject in both X and Y-axis.
This will be indicated if you receive an error on the LCD; "CARD IS NOT FORMATTED" or "OUT OF MEMORY"or "NO CARD PRESENT".

If you'd like to indulge in some Hollywood style glamour, 3-D Glitz offers phone cases that are just right for you. If you don't
want to use the Apple remote there is another option.
Maybe they thought that users wouldn't want DVD movies to take up space on their i - Pod (which is strange, because i - Pods' 30GB and 60GB
hard drives are plenty big enough).

5 MP is excellent resolution, but where and how can you achieve it.
The people today that invest in this camera, possibly have an limitless price range,
or are expert photographers. Compared to the standard prices of camcorders, a DSLR holds its own.

It's so small so you can bring it when you travel around. All 3 of the devices take care of high-definition streaming video, although the XD is the most reasonably priced with 1080p capability. Air - Play will also be coming quickly on Airplay-enabled speakers and stereo methods.
