Kardashian, 19 years old when she married the then-29-year-old Thomas in 2000, said in the divorce papers dug up by Britain
"One incident occurred on the day that Damon and I were going skydiving with Justin Timberlake," Kardashian continued. "Before we left home, Damon hit me in the face and cut my lip open. I fell into the bed frame and banged my knee hard."
Kardashian detailed incidents that escalated in their brutality. Telling of another incident in which he demanded to know who she had paged earlier in the day, Kardashian said, "He became enraged and punched me in the face. My face was bruised and swollen as a result."
Another time, "[Thomas] came at me and slammed me against the closet wall. He held me up against the wall with his hands around my neck and threatened to choke me. He then took one hand and punched the wall right next to my head."
Why no police reports? Abject fear. "I thought about calling the police but was afraid and decided not to do so," Kardashian reported.
She also said in the court documents that Thomas was emotionally abusive, forcing her to quit her job so he could be sure she would stay at home all day, demanding that she "ask permission" to leave the house and waking her to cook him meals at 4:30 am.
Kardashian herself has not yet made a public statement about these revelations. The couple divorced in 2004.
