Goodluck Jonathan sworn-in as Nigeria President

Acting President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was sworn-in today as the substantive President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria  by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Aloysius Katsina-Alu at the Presidential Villa. He is to serve out the remainder of late Umaru Yar'adua's term which ends on May 29 2011. He assumes the presidency officially following the death of Yar'adua last night after a prolonged illness.
