ESPN sportscaster Erin Andrews has gotten some unwanted exposure, and she has threatens lawsuit over nude video.
Last week, a grainy video surfaced that shows the sideline reporter walking naked around a hotel room. It appears that Andrews, who Playboy dubbed "America's Sexiest Sportscaster," was filmed without her knowledge through the peephole.
The video became the buzz of the Internet, finding its way onto several popular Web sites before being removed. Searches for the video surged to the top of the Google Hot Trends list.
Andrews, 31, joined ESPN in 2004 and made headlines earlier this year when she was struck in the chin by a foul ball while covering a New York Mets game. She was rushed to the hospital, but only suffered a bruised chin.
Andrews laughed off the foul ball incident, but she doesn't find anything funny about the peephole video: She's threatening a lawsuit.
"While alone in the privacy of her hotel room, Erin Andrews was surreptitiously videotaped without her knowledge or consent. She was the victim of a crime and is taking action to protect herself and help ensure that others are not similarly violated in the future," said her lawyer, Marshall B. Grossman, in a statement.
The statement continues: "Although the perpetrator or perpetrators of this criminal act have not yet been identified, when they are identified she intends to bring both civil and criminal
