Nnaemeka Ikegwuonu not found on Time magazine's '100 most influential' People list.

Contrary to the news published by Nigeria’s Punch Newspaper, our investigation reveals that Nnaemeka Ikegwuonu, a young and innovative Nigerian enterpenuer, was not found on Time magazine's '100 most influential' People list. Click here to view the list.

Nnaemeka Ikegwuonu was born in 1982 and lives in Imo State. He is a winner of 2010 Rolex Prize for Enterprise.

The Punch Newspaper has reported that Nnaemeka Ikegwuonu's name was listed in the artists' category of Time magazine's '100 most influential' People list, but Time magazine's website does not have Nnaemeka Ikegwuonu's name on its list.


This report is not meant to diminish the creative efforts of Nnaemeka Ikegwuonu; it is meant to avoid misleading information about the personality of Nnaemeka Ikegwuonu of profile of Time magazine.

Nnaemeka Ikegwuonu is one of Nigerian celebrated heroes who has use his skills and talents to alleviate the suffering of over 250 rural farmers in South Eastern, Nigeria by providing valuable information and agricultural marketing techniques to the farmer to boost their sales through his radio station. Nnaemeka Ikegwuonu runs radio station which communicates to farmers in their native languages under the organization name Smallholders Foundation.
